  • Appeal for Funds Including Purpose of Funds

There are so many on-going Building projects in the Diocese namely:

    1. The new Archbishop’s Palace, Awka
    2. Rennaisance Modern Polytechnic Mbaukwu
    3. Queens’ Convent, Awka
    4. Faith Specialist Hospital Complex, Awka
    5. Paul University, (Law Faculty Building), Awka
    6. Mary Sumner Vocational Institute, Awka
    7. Diocesan Hospital Project, Awka Ofemili
    8. Mount Zion International Retreat and Resource Centre Awka ETC ETC ETC
Members are encouraged to donate handsomely to these Legacy Projects since their names will be eternally immortalised. We have records of Donors from 1987 when the first Synod of the Diocese was held at St. Faith’s Pro-Cathedral, Awka in September, 1987, till date.

Above all, ALL DONORS are appreciated by the Archbishop/Diocesan Bishop, and prayed for.

Synods are held once in two decades. Abagana Anglican Community has hosted Synod, twice, namely 1984 (under Diocese on the Niger) and 2007 (under Diocese of Awka). It may take about twenty (20) years to reach them again (2042).

Consequently, make haste while the sun shines.

    God bless you.

    Venerable Clement C. Mgbemena, JP

    CLERICAL SYNOD SECRETARY 01-03-2022
